Not everyone is able to personally see and/or talk to the Presidential candidates every four years. Many people, especially those outside of the first few states that vote in the primaries and caucuses, don't even get a lot of information on the candidates beyond what they see on tv.

That is why we are here. Living in Iowa has given us the unique opportunity to take one for the rest of you. The excessive phone calls, polls, tv ads, yard signs and especially the snail mail are dumped on us in hopes that we will whittle the candidates down to a more manageable number for the rest of you.

We also get to see many of the candidates in person. We hope to give you a taste of the constant barrage of candidate mailings and the candidates themselves from the perspective of living in northwest Iowa. We often see and/or hear things in person, with the real context, not what the big media and political pundits tell you after its been filtered several times. For instance, we were there in person when Trump said...

I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?

We don't claim to be unbiased. Honestly, no one can truly claim to unbiased. But we will give you what we see and we will tell you what we think. But just like you, we don't always make our minds up immediately.
