Meeting Ron DeSantis In-Person
Today presented itself with the perfect example of why I started this website. Ron DeSantis stopped by our little town today and it gave us the opportunity to shake his hand and observe his personality in-person without the filter of the media.

We'll talk more about DeSantis and the event in general later, but for this article I want to highlight how what we experience is not the same as what the media reports.
Within minutes of the event coming to an end, the following article (along with several others) found its way to the web:
"Ron DeSantis says people looking for child care won't get help from the feds if he becomes President"
That headline is far from the truth. The moments of truth twisted into either misleading or outright lies by the media is something that all of us need to be aware of and filtering out of our lives.
Within the article, "He also noted that people who 'dropped out of the workforce' during the COVID-19 pandemic were to blame." If you watch the video, DeSantis never blamed the individual people as this non-quote quote suggests. This is a typical leftist approach to journalism.
So I looked up the company behind this media website. It is called Extensive Enterprises. No joke, it has the same name as the fictional business that supports the fictional terrorist organization called Cobra from the GI Joe Toys, Comics, and Cartoon of the 1980s.
Back to the snail mail, we received two more mailings today: one from the Nikki Haley Super PAC and one from the Super Pac that helped set up today's DeSantis event, Never Back Down, Inc.
