Today we received our first mailing from the Ramaswamy campaign, and it's not the typical postcard sized mailing.
It is a page and a half printed letter sent from the Vivek 2024 campaign. The blue printed letters are not the easiest to see on the off-white paper, but it is filled with the typical popularism and rhetoric for which he is well known. You can read the letter down below. He ends the letter with a promise that he will soon send another letter.
I am guessing the letter is much cheaper to have printed and sent than the typical two-sided color postcard most other campaigns and Super PACs send. I am also guessing he is trying to regain some momentum he had a few weeks ago. That momentum seems to have dropped off shortly after the first debate and now they are trying to get it going again.
On the other hand, the Haley campaign also sent another postcard mailing today (China-themed again) putting her into third place now with the most mailings. The direction of their campaign was heading in the right direction recently, but now the polls have it possibly stalling out too.
We could be in a holding pattern with only the Trump campaign showing any true gains in the polls recently. The next debate is only 6 days away. The candidates will need to have very good showings in this debate but without looking too combative over stupid things. It is a hard line to follow. You either come across as interrupting too much or not seen at all when you fall off that line.
