Chris Christie Out, Six Left
Chris Christie announced the suspension of his campaign Wednesday as he bad mouthed the two candidates set to debate on CNN Wednesday night.
Christie, who also ran an unsuccessful bid in 2016, never attempted to compete in Iowa with all of his campaigning taking place in New Hampshire. He joins eight other Republican candidates that have dropped out of the race before Iowans vote on Monday, January 15, 2024.
With just four days left before Iowans go to the Caucuses, it is very unlikely any more candidates will drop out, but I have updated my list just in case Asa Hutchinson decides to throw in the towel before Monday.

Meanwhile, as the winter snow and cold temperatures begin to set in to Iowa, the heat has really started to ramp up in the race between Trump, DeSantis, and Haley. Trump and Haley have continued to bash DeSantis while DeSantis has started pushing back against Haley.
Our two mailings that arrived today set a couple firsts.
One of the mailings was the largest postcard mailing we have received all year. The Never Back Down super PAC has always sent larger postcards than the other campaigns, but today's postcard is more of a poster than a postcard. Coming in at 11x14 inches, I am not quite sure how it even fit into the mailbox.
The other mailing was the very first mailing we have received directly from the DeSantis campaign.
Both of these mailings targeted Nikki Haley on one side and highlighted DeSantis on the other side.

At this point in the campaign, it is going to be about turnout and enthusiasm. There will be a few people making their final decision at the actual event on Monday, but whichever candidate can get the most enthusiastic voters that are willing to put up with the crazy cold temperatures that are arriving on Sunday and Monday will win.
