Revenge Is A Dangerous Virus

Revenge Is A Dangerous Virus
The 2024 primary is a process that is fueled by revenge.

Many Republicans decided months ago that they wanted revenge.  They want revenge on the media, revenge on the Democrats, and revenge on woke judges and attorney generals.  That revenge mentality only became more intense when Trump was indicted at the very beginning of the primary election nine months ago.

But revenge can act like a virus.  Once it finds a host, it can easily consume the host and become very contagious.

I fear that too many conservative Republicans have been infected by the revenge virus.

So how does a virus like the revenge virus become so viral and infect so many people?  I believe the media, especially Foxnews for Republicans, is the biggest spreader of the revenge virus.  The media loves revenge.  It sells ads.

Any serious person who has not been infected with the revenge virus would see that Trump is far less conservative than DeSantis.  Yet, Republican voters clearly want a revenge fighter to satisfy their own revengeful feelings.

This is not a good thing for the future of the Republican party?  The revenge virus tends to leave its victims with the mentality of always wanting revenge.  This means they always need to lose because you can't have revenge when you win.

If the Republican party can survive the next four years (whether Trump becomes President or not), there might be hope.  If they are able to fight off the revenge virus, perhaps DeSantis or another similar conservative candidate can bring Republicans back to a point where they vote for moral values instead of revenge.  There is no vaccine for revenge.  A proper Biblical lifestyle will be the best way to prevent infection.  It's also the best way to help fight off an infection once it has taken hold of the host.
