William Asa Hutchinson II is probably best known in his role as the 46th governor of the state of Arkansas. Asa Hutchinson was born in Arkansas in 1950. He earned his bachelors degree from Bob Jones University in South Carolina before going on to receive his Doctor of Law in 1975 from the University of Arkansas School of Law. He has served as both a U.S. Attorney and a U.S. Representative before he served in the Bush Administration. His eight years as governor of Arkansas came to and end in January of 2023. He and his wife Susan Burrell Hutchinson have four children. He suspended his campaign on January 16, 2024.
